Therapy for Individuals

living with adhd can be exhausting

You wonder how other people seem to have their lives together when you can barely make it out the door on time.

You know deep-down that you have a lot to offer the world, but have that sinking feeling that you aren’t living up to your potential.

You panic at the thought of anyone finding out about all the hidden areas of your life where you’re dropping the ball.

I work with individuals at all different stages with their ADHD.

If you’re newly diagnosed:

You may feel like your whole world just got turned upside down. You may start to see the impact of ADHD in your career, your relationships, and your whole idea of who you are as a person. You want real strategies for getting out of the stuck place you’ve been in for years, ASAP!

If you’ve had your diagnosis for awhile:

You may have your ADHD pretty well-managed, but struggle with self-confidence or patterns in your relationships. You may want to talk about all of the other parts of your life and identity, but still want to work with a therapist that understands how ADHD shapes the way you approach your life.

Wherever you are with your ADHD, here are some of the ways that I can help:

  • Better understand how ADHD is showing up in your life

  • Gaining a clearer sense of direction in your life

  • Learning the ADHD skills to stay on track

  • Shifting patterns of shame-spiraling and self-criticism towards greater self-compassion

  • Healing past traumas, whether related to ADHD or not

  • Learning coping skills for managing life’s emotional ups and downs

  • Developing healthier relationships, setting boundaries, and improving the way you communicate with others
